What is the name of Ernest Hemingway鈥檚 first published work, which was published in 1923?
Hemingway's own first book, called Three Stories and Ten Poems (1923), was published in Paris by Robert McAlmon.
What is the name of Ernest Hemingway鈥檚 first published work, which was published in 1923?
His first published work was his work as a newspaper journalist, right? But I believe others have told you the name of his first book.

What do u think of the first name-shayna and the middle name-annalise for a baby girls name?
It's okay.
How about Annalise Shaye (or spelled Shea).

What do u think of the first name-shayna and the middle name-annalise for a baby girls name?
I love the name Shayna its unique and sounds classy. Go for it.
Reply:i think it sounds really good
Reply:I like Annalise, not Shayna I just don't think they sound good together.
Reply:I think it's good. It's not like people are going to be saying her full first and middle name (unless you intend it to be that way, or if your daughter/future daughter wants it that way), so I don't think it looks weird at all. I love it when people get creative! Plus, my name is spelled Chayna with a "C". It's a little different, but I also like the "Shayna" way too.
And to comment above about the "trashy" remark, i'd rather have my name sound absolutely different than have something completely unoriginal and boring. ;)
Reply:I think it's a bit of a mouthful. I like the names, but not all together. I think the first name that ends with the first letter of the middle name is quite the tounge twister.
Reply:shayna annalise doesn't really work. the last a in shayna and the first a in annalise kind of blur into each other.
annalise is a beautiful name, why not use that for her first name? shayna could be her middle name. then you don't have to worry about the two a's blending into each other when you say her full name. i also personally don't like the name shayna, it's too full of vowels and too slippery. but if you like shayna, then go for it. can i suggest the alternative spelling of shania?
Reply:annalise is prettier as a first name.
i like: Annalise Shaia
Reply:My name is Mishayla, mostly called Shayla, so I like that better:) I still like Shayna, and I love the middle name Annalise, but I like Shayla Annalise better than Shayna Annalise.
Reply:I love it Shayna is my daughters name
It means beautiful in Hebrew
Reply:I think it's VERY pretty, good job :) I also have always loved the name Shae, although I'm not sure how to spell it exactly.
Congrats hun %26lt;3
Reply:Shayna is not my favorite. It kind of makes me think trashy-sorry! :(
I love Annalise though. I would use that as the first name.

Not Jordan, Tiger or Gretzgy. One is a team.

In the name Wong Joon Tai, is Wong the first name or the surname?
I have seen this name in different orders, so I am a little confused whether there is a correct order or if it is correct both ways. I have seen it with Wong first and I have also seen it with Joon first. Both times the name Tai is in the middle. Thanks to everyone who can help clear the confusion for me!
In the name Wong Joon Tai, is Wong the first name or the surname?
Wong is the surname. Joon Tai is the given name.
In Asian culture, it is customary to put the family name first, followed by the given name. For example, the English name John Smith would be written as Smith John in Asia. This shows the importance Asians place on their family heritage.
Also, it usually tends to be that the surname is one word, and the given name is two. This is not traditional in Japan, but in China, Korea, and other Asian countries, this tends to be the case.
Reply:Wang or Wong are two transliterations of a very common surname from the Chinese. The basic meaning is king. Here is the character 鐜?br>
The folk etymology is that the three horizontal lines represent heaven man and earth with the vertical line being the king who connects them to one another. It was a great mnemonic device for a character I will never forget how to write.

Patsy Ann Noble

Reply:Patsy 'Crazy' Cline was American (born in Virginia). She died in 1963, in a plane crash I believe.
Not sure who the Patsy you are looking for is I'm afraid
Reply:Patsy Cline
Patsy Cline (born Virginia Patterson Hensley September 8, 1932 鈥?March 5, 1963) was a Country music/Pop music singer, who enjoyed Pop music cross-over success during the era of the Nashville Sound in the early 1960s. She became one of the first Country singers to have major success on the Pop charts. Since her death at the age of 30 in a 1963 plane crash during the height of her fame, she has been considered one of the most influential and successful female vocalists of the 20th Century. Her legacy, ensured by a string of hit recordings and posthumous awards, has been the subject of numerous books, movies, documentaries, articles and stage plays.
Patsy Cline was best-known for her emotionally-expressive voice, that has been found hard to re-create. Many artists over the years have tried to re-create Cline's sound, like k.d. lang and LeAnn Rimes. Many of her songs have been identified as "timeless classics". Her signature songs include "Crazy", "I Fall to Pieces", "She's Got You", "So Wrong" and "Walkin' After Midnight". She has sold millions of albums over the past 50 years, which gave Patsy Cline an iconic fan status, similar to that of Country artists like Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton.

What do you think of the first name Emory/Emery?

Gd Luck wit de name any name will be cute as long as its not Ez to make Fan of! or ya can name her Monica lol dats my name:} again Gd Luck =)
Reply:I don't like it for a girl at all. People need to stop giving girls names that have traditionally been for boys, you can't even look at a name on paper anymore and tell whether it's a girl or a boy and that's really annoying. Emily and Emma are really pretty names, and the poor girl wouldn't have to go through life with people looking at her name and wondering if she's a boy.
Reply:I think I wish people would stop giving boy names to girls.
It was derived from the name Emmerich, which was derived from Amalric.
Amalric was the name of a 6th-century king of the Visigoths, as well as two 12th-century kings of Jerusalem.
Reply:I love it. It's really pretty, especially when followed by Rose. It's also really unique and expressive. I would definitely tell them about your idea.
Reply:I prefer
Emily Rose
