The book is about what went on (behind the


scenes) when filming of the original Star Trek. How the actors got along with each other?


The problems with the "set". The problems dealing with William Shatner. Etc.

What is the name of the book that tells about what happened behind the scenes of the first Star Trek series?
There were three books. Two were written by David Gerrold. Those titles were "The World of Star Trek" and "The Trouble With Tribbles." The first and original book is somewhere on my shelf.....





"The Making of Star Trek" by Stephen E. Whitfield and Gene Roddenberry. It was first published in September 1968.





In these contemporary accounts, Shatner is mostly portrayed as being a practical joker. They were not written by the other cast members and many of the conflicts between the cast members and Shatner were not obvious to the writers although Gene Roddenberry certainly knew about the conflicts and did what he could to ease them.
