What middle name goes with the first name Maia? (My-uh)?

My middle name is Marie. I was thinking about using that but it is so common. Our last name is Welch. Any advice would be great!!

Reply:If your last name is English or Welsh, you might want to consider matching the baby's name (or part of her name's) origin with that.





Also, if you could select a family name that you like (even as a middle name), I think you will always be glad you made that decision.





If you go with Maia (beautiful) as a first name, I believe the most common spelling is "Maya" (Aztec). Trust me, I have a child with an uncommon spelling, and it does create endless problems/issues.





Just my two cents, but I do love your name choice and its uniqueness :)





I do like the other person's idea of "Isabella" as a middle name. However, since the first name has your "a" sound, perhaps Maya Isabelle?
