When i write a formal letter to someone, whose name/address goes first at the top of the page? Mine or theirs?
Unless you have your own letterhead, it should go dateline, sender's address, space, reciever's name, title, address, then salutation.
Reply:I usually put my own name and information either central top to look like personalized letterhead (ex. a resume) or on the upper right corner. Then leave space and move to the left margin for the date and a couple lines below that the name and address of the recipient.
Reply:Accross the top, or to the top right....Yours. Under that, starting at the left margin, theirs. (Top says who it is from, second/left is who it is to.)
Reply:On the left hand margin theirs, at the right hand margin yours..........
Reply:yours does
Reply:yours. theres go in the middle
Reply:Your address goes in the upper right hand corner.
