For a job, If your I.D. says Your first last and Middle name but you have a first name that isnt on it?

A first name that you go by, how do you explain this to employers, especially if you really hate the name on your I.D. How should you put this down on the application where it says name? It's for a job at a restaurant near the beach by the way.

for example, my name is alice but i go by polly so i write - alice (middle name) "polly" (last name)
Reply:Tell your mananger or who ever makes the ID the name you want put on them. Thats what I did at my job
Reply:they do this for there security and your and the Id is yours
