I have 7 month baby called Josh(ua). Never been sure, am thinking of adding Milo as his first name -thoughts?

Any thoughts? Never been sure about Joshua as it is soooo common.Am able to add a first name to the birth certificate legally in UK if child under 1 year.

I think you should add Milo to his birth certificate and start saying his name as quickly as possible. The baby will develop knowledge of his own name faster the more he hears it, but at seven months it won't affect him to have it suddenly changed. :)
Reply:I changed my daughter's name from Sasha to Alexandra when she was about that age. Sasha is a derivative of Alexandra but I decided to give her more options when she's older. I've never had a moment's regret - change it if you'd like to x

Reply:Only time I've heard Milo is from a children's movie Milo and Otis. Joshua is a beautiful name though. Does your child have a middle name?
