Rebecca is definitely the middle name, what is a good first name to go with it?

I am eight months pregnant with my first child.... the middle name is definitely Rebecca, but the father and I cannot agree on a first name.... we had thought of Kinsley, Isabella, or Addyson, but not sure if we like any of them with rebecca as the middle name.... PLEASE HELP!!

Rebecca is definitely the middle name, what is a good first name to go with it?
I like Addyson Rebecca, actually. I would definitely go with a 3 syllable first name but not one that ends with "a."

So...

Madison Rebecca

Jennifer Rebecca

Abigail Rebecca

Emily Rebecca, etc.

Good luck!

By the way, I like how you say that Rebecca is definately the middle name and a lot of people are putting it down as a first name....like hellooooo!!!
Reply:I work in a very busy pharmacy where I am in charge of record keeping and insurance billing, therefore, I see a lot of very unusual names. A growing trend that I see is parents, in an attempt to give their child something unique, put together two other names or use a weird spelling of a common name. The worst that I've seen are as follows:

(I am not making these up.)

- Alex + Xavier = Alexavier

- Caleb, Kayleb, Kaleb,

- Caitlin, Kaitlin, Kaitlyn, Kaytlyn, Kaityn,

- Krystopher

- Caden, Cayden, Caydon, Khaydon, Cade, Kaden,

- Hallex (All of the brothers and sister had H names as well.)

- Nevaeh....(when asked about the name, the mother said that it was Heaven BACKWARDS!

- Dharma. I know that you're thinking about the tv show. The mother was Pentecostal. She had hair down past her backside, the denim skirt, long sleeves in summer, the whole nine yards. A really nice lady in general. What she didn't realize is that the word "Dharma" is the founding principle of the Buddhist faith, and that her particular sect of Christianity considers Buddhists to be heathen sinners. It would be akin to a Muslim naming their child Trinity or Jesus.

- My wife: Shannara (pronounced shuh-NAR-uh) Her parents are pretty much hippies and the most wonderful people in the world. She says that grew up her entire life hearing her name mispronounced and misspelled. (My 72 year old aunt spent two years making a quilt for us only to mess up her name on the embroidery.) So forget about anything personalized or monogrammed.

In short, I would say to stick with the classics. Of the three mentioned in the question, I would personally choose Isabella. It has a strong feminine vibe with an air of European royalty.

My wife and I like the names Bethany, Sharon, and Janice.

Good luck, and congratulations.
Reply:why not change it up and use Rebecca as her first name. I think Rebecca Kinsley sounds nice actually...however its only a suggestion. Good luck and i hope you find a name that you love.

Reply:Amelia is a lovely name.... but out of ur nice names, id choose Isabella..my friend just had a wee girl and called her that but she has shortened her name now to Bella.... good luck..

Reply:I really like Kinsley Rebecca, but Addyson Rebecca is pretty also. I love the name Addyson. Very different

:-). Just like other people say, dont have the "ah"sound at the end of the first name and middle name. It's too much. Good Luck with everything!

Reply:My daughter is Holley Rebecca. I wanted Rebecca no mater what too. That was my grandmothers name and it means the world to me.

My daughters best friend is Lauren Rebecca.

Good Luck!
Reply:I love the name Rebecca. That's my first name. I think it's going to be hard to find a good first name if the middle name is Rebecca but it's possible. I think Rebecca Michelle is really pretty. Im not sure other wise though, sorry. Good Luck.
Reply:Isabella is a beautiful name.you should name her that?!and congrats?!
Reply:All those first names you thought of need to be thrown out those were horrible! Go back to the drawing board! It's your decision to make but I wouldn't chose any of the names you were thinking of. I would suggest a name that doesn't end with the letter a. Something like Carolyn, Caroline, Diane, Farrah, Megan, etc....... Are all better names then what you've come up with.
